– Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Practitioner & Empowerment Coach

Originally trained as a language teacher, worked as corporate employee and then stay-at-home mum of three. In recent years I’ve changed my career to follow my calling to help others and became certified coach. Over the past years, I’ve combined my personal experience and my coaching skills to create a system to help women transform their relationship with food, themselves and their body.

My secret formula is a unique combination of Western psychology and Eastern energy work. It’s about addressing Mind and Body together and getting to the roots of someone’s struggle. I’m certified in a cutting-edge approach, of clinically proven, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT, also known as Tapping) as well as a Yoga Teacher.

I show women struggling with weight, how to BREAKTHROUGH the pattern of emotional eating, endless dieting and self-sabotage so that they can finally be confident, feel gorgeous in their body and have vibrant energy to enjoy their life.

I support people who are struggling with physical conditions or a disease who are STUCK feeling overwhelmed, scared or angry to find peace with their body, reduce the stress of dealing with the daily life demands and take empowered decisions on their health journey.

I’ve struggled with food cravings, emotional eating and binge eating
for years.
I've also struggled with low confidence, anxiety and body image.

I remember what it was like…

…to constantly worry about what I was going to eat next and how it’s going to affect my body.

One minute I was starving myself, depriving myself of proper meals, feeling so hungry that I couldn’t concentrate on much else…the next minute I was eating everything that came my way.

I remember the feeling of dread and panic.. when I was stepping on the scale after the night of binging. Oh… the scale never lied.

I was feeling overwhelmed, confused and so stuck. And of course I blamed it on me. There must be something wrong with me. I must be broken.

In social situations, I felt best hiding in the corner, avoiding to be noticed, afraid to speak up. Feeling unattractive and lacking in confidence.

The extra weight and the number on the scale defined me… I hated that reflection in the mirror… I wasn’t good enough… I wasn’t pretty enough… I wasn’t worthy of love and attention…not until I lose those extra pounds.

So I held myself back from dating, from reaching my potential at work, from fully sharing my personality and, most importantly, from allowing myself to be happy.

And deep down part of me was dying… with every failed attempt to lose that weight, with every diet, with every binge… that dream to be finally free of this misery was pushed away… that dream to finally be me, shattered.

And it wasn't as if I wasn't trying...

I’ve tried different programs. I’ve spent money on slimming pills, books and memberships. But nothing seemed to work.

AND… It is my heartfelt, driving passion to help other women because being stuck is painful and costly and wastes precious time! These are the EXACT things that I know how to solve!

It literally breaks my heart because it is so unnecessary! But women don’t know how to solve these painful problems, and they don’t know there is actually a way out of the struggle! But I do.

I heard about Kate and Emotional Freedom Techniques from a neighbour at a time I was in a lot of physical pain and emotional stress. I was quite apprehensive at first but I was open to trying anything. I was surprised at how easily I could talk to Kate, especially over Zoom. I felt a little silly at first with the tapping but Kate is so professional, yet down to earth also, that I soon got into the flow of it and got immediate benefits from day one. The best way I can describe it is that I showed up consumed with pain and stress and by the end of each session, I was calm, happy and the physical pain was greatly reduced if not completely gone. The tension was gone from my body and the stress no longer consumed me and I could more logically deal with the stressor. After each session, I was shocked at the results. Kate also identified and helped me work though a long standing stress trigger. I found that I became immune to the trigger gradually through the sessions. After some of our tapping sessions, Kate did yoga sessions with me. Kate knew the areas needing attention each week and again, her instruction transition seamlessly via zoom.
